General
VCI powder is a kind of water soluble antirust powder that may be
used in both dry and wet surface
It is mainly applied to corrosion inhibiting treatment of metal
machinery
Its effect can be obtained by applying dry vci powder in a confined
space when it gasification the anti rust effect . VCI protect the
metal surface to form a compact protection film which play a role
of anti rust
In manufacturer of boiler machinery, VCI powder can be mixed with
water for hydro static test

METHOD
- Clean and dry the surface of machine for anti-rust with out
residue , dirty marks
- When applying VCI powder desiccant in a dry process , evenly
sprayed the powder on the surface of machine parts for anti rust
and machine may be sealed after dry operation is completed
- When applying VCI pocket / pouch in a dry process plz keep the
pocket / pouch within the distance where VCI is valid area
specified
- ******0 gms is required for 1 metre cube area of container
- Handle with gloves and do not contact with machines parts for
antirust with bare hand
